Typically Canadians are content to linger in the shadows and unless recognized for their accomplishments outside the country, they’re rarely in the limelight. The problem is that most of us do NOT like talking about ourselves. We believe it is bragging. However, there are times it is absolutely necessary.
Over the past twenty-eight years, split evenly between working in, on, and on behalf of early stage companies in both the US and Canada, I have recognized there are commonalities across sectors. However, I believe having the ability to rise to the occasion and exploit the opportunity is what sets you apart.
